The Ozarks. Just saying it conjures images of a fantastic place - filled with winding caves, giant fish, putt putt golf, water slides and banjos.

Southern Missouri was a long way from the Illinois cornfields. Heading down south to the lake meant at least a week's worth of adventure.

To this day, there's nothing like the smell gasoline coming off an outboard engine. Except, maybe bug spray, which is a close second.
